Room for real life

Sound familiar?

By the time everyone else is settled you are running on empty

The baby finally falls asleep. You sit down, and your mind starts another list.

The washing. Tomorrow’s meals. The message you still haven’t answered.

You wanted a moment for yourself. Now even deciding what to do with it feels like work.

Perhaps you miss having energy for something you enjoy. Perhaps your clothes feel unfamiliar. Perhaps you simply miss feeling like a person with needs of her own.

You can love being a mum and still miss yourself.

And when your days already ask so much of you, a plan that needs an uninterrupted hour can be difficult to keep.

There is room to begin on a smaller scale.

The 10-minute commitment

Build your routine around the day you already have

Your day can be unpredictable. Your next step can still be clear.

Start with moments that already exist: your next meal, a walk when it suits your recovery, the few minutes before you settle down for the night.

These are the moments 10 Minutes for Me helps you work with. Watch a short lesson, choose one action and decide where it belongs in your day.

You begin by naming what you need. Then you work through food, movement and rest, before bringing your chosen habits together in a weekly plan.

How you will put the lessons into practice

01

Choose what you need most

Start by noticing how you feel and what you would like to change. The opening exercises help you set personal goals around your body, your emotions and your everyday life.

Your goal might be to make time for breakfast, move a little more, or have a quiet moment that belongs to you.

02

Turn a short lesson into one action

Each lesson gives you something practical to do. You might write down a goal, look at how you build a meal, or plan a brief evening routine.

You have a clear next step when you close the video.

03

Come back to the actions that fit

Try an action, notice how it fits your day, and keep what is useful to you.

If the baby wakes or your plans change, you can come back to a smaller step. The commitment is an invitation to make room for yourself, with flexibility for real life.

Ten minutes is the starting daily commitment. Individual activities vary in length; the course also includes a longer guided movement session.

A little look inside

Try the first step before you join

One of the opening exercises asks you to finish this sentence:

“Today, I feel…”

Write down the answer you actually have. Tired. Frustrated. Hopeful. Unsure where to start. It is yours to express.

Then choose one small moment for yourself today: drinking your tea while it is still warm, sitting quietly, or writing a few lines in a notebook.

That is a sample of the approach inside the course: notice what you need, choose something manageable, and give yourself permission to begin.

Be honest. Be kind to yourself.

Inside the mini-course

What you will learn and put into practice

Mindset & permission

Make room for yourself when everything else feels urgent

Recognise the mental load of motherhood and the pressure to do everything well. Work through the permission exercise, choose one thing to let go of today, and make a moment for your own needs.

Personal goals

Choose three goals that matter to you

Set a goal for your body, one for how you want to feel and one for daily life. Put them into your own words, so you know what you are working towards.

Everyday food

Understand what goes on your plate

Learn the roles of protein, carbohydrates and fats, then look at your next meal with practical examples to guide you. Choose one food habit to work on.

Movement & awareness

Get to know your body as you return to movement

Explore breathing, core awareness and ways to include movement in daily life. The course introduces abdominal separation and includes guided movement to approach according to your individual recovery needs.

Digestion & routines

Get to know your digestion

Learn about hydration, fibre, gut health and meal routines. Choose a daily habit to pay attention to, such as how regularly you drink water, and seek individual advice for ongoing concerns.

Rest & reflection

Create a weekly routine with room for rest

Learn grounding exercises, short pauses and an evening ritual. Bring your chosen habits together in a weekly plan, then revisit “Today, I feel…” to reflect on your experience.

A note from Iolanda

I tried complicated diets, counted calories and made plans I struggled to keep. After becoming a mum, my body and energy had changed, and my evenings kept ending with the same thought: “Tomorrow, I’ll start again.”

What I needed was a simpler structure for the life I was actually living: quick routines, brief moments of movement and time to recover.

That experience is why I created this mini-course.

I want you to know what you can try next, even on a day that does not go to plan.

Before you begin

A few things you may be wondering

How much time will I need

The course begins with a 10-minute daily commitment. Many lessons and actions are short, while some activities take longer, including the guided movement session. Give yourself time to work through them at a pace that suits you.

What if I have started other programmes and stopped

Start with the smallest action you can reasonably fit into your day. The opening lessons focus on realistic goals and letting go of perfection. If you miss a day, choose your next manageable step when you return.

Will this help me lose weight or change my stomach

The course focuses on everyday wellbeing habits and your relationship with your body. It does not promise a particular change in weight, measurements or appearance. Your recovery and experience are individual.

Is this suitable if I am breastfeeding or recovering from birth

Your needs and stage of recovery come first. Ask your midwife, doctor or an appropriately qualified clinician about suitability before changing your exercise or eating routine, particularly after a caesarean or complicated birth. Breastfeeding also requires individual consideration for dietary changes.

The course provides general wellbeing education and does not replace individual healthcare or rehabilitation.

Do I need to join the 21 day programme too

No. This mini-course is the introductory step described on this page. The longer programme is a separate offer, which you can consider later.
